Making It the Larger than Life
Undeterred, Uninterrupted, Undisputed
Karmanye Vadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadhachana – Perform your duty but do not have any expectation of the fruits. That’s the motto of Dhananjay’s life. He faced legal and regulatory challenges from 2014 to 2016 regarding the legibility of his education institutes. The University of Pune ordered him to shut down IIBM in 2016 due to political and socio-economic pressures. But Dhananjay stood firm and faced everything challenging issue with a straight face. He knew that he had done nothing wrong and had clear documental proof to argue his case. He even turned the negative media publicity into a positive one after a very rational and heartfelt talk with journalists during the period.
On Making It the Larger than Life
Dhananjay is a big believer in forgiving and forgetting. He is thankful for all the challenges and negative moments in his life because he thinks that without such hardships, he would never have become the person he is today.
He understands his responsibilities toward society and values it more than anything else in his life. Over the years, he has been at the forefront of many social activities, such as giving free computer education to women and unemployed youth in 27 wards of Pune (2006), training railway employees, and working towards the betterment of underprivileged students and older people. He has never shied away from working for society and wishes to continue this journey even after finishing his entrepreneurial journey.
